This AHA time efficient course (2-4 hours) is designed
to meet the needs of lay rescuers who are learning CPR to protect
family, friends and co-workers. This course prepares the lay rescuer
to perform CPR and relieve FBAO (foreign body air way obstruction),
mouth to mouth (mouth to nose for infants) as the primary means of
ventilation and the use of barrier devices. Video instruction and
lots of hands on practice!
This course is taught in two parts: Adult CPR and Child and Infant
CPR. Each part can be taught separately. |

| This course prepares the lay responders who are
serving as rescuers as part of their job responsibility and are
not required to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable piece of equipment
that is used to shock the heart into a normal rhythm. Students learn
how to use AED and CPR together to help save more lives. AED can
be found in airports, concert arenas and private businesses. Video
instruction and lots of hands on practice!

video and lots of hands on practice including bandaging and wound
stabilization, bleeding control and how to treat for shock.
